Located only a few meters from Intercontinental Hotel's Refuge ski lift, the Merab Hotel and the jointly owned and managed Chalets offer great value for money to the active skier who is looking for a value for money in hotel options.  The new all suite/chalet extension opened for business in 2005 and now compliments the cozy 2000  built hotel.  All hotel rooms are kept meticulously clean, are well furnished, warm and have satellite TV and private WC.  The suites are one or two bedroom chalets and all have their own wood burning fireplaces.  They are tastefully decorated with quality furnishings and their interiors are styled to a high standard with the guests comfort in mind.  A kitchenette, available in all chalets, will provide you with the benefit of self catering.  In contrast to the hotel rooms, all the suites are generously sized.  A shuttle to the Faraya Mzaar ski resort's main entrance is run twice daily serving customers of both the Merab Hotel and the Chalets.  The Merab Hotel is connected to Mansour Shop, where you can find anything you would expect in a mountain super market and Chez Mansour, a stylish bar and restaurant.
